And the final one (in order I've seen them) And man, this guy could really use a hug. I wonder who he's yelling/shreiking at. His emotions come very naturally off of his face. His circular skin designs give a very nature-like feeling, like the rings of a tree or something, along with his clothing and stance. I just get a general earthy tone from him. His skin also looks soft, though, but in almost an earthy way.

Thanks!! I kind of based his markings on the raptors from Jurassic Park 3, with a bit of tweaking :)

Awesome possum. I'd like to hug all of your raptors, they're just so awesome and cute, and they kinda remind me of my own imagined anthro velociraptors, which is reason to like them more. I don't see how this level of detail can be obtained with lead pencil, but I glad because that's my tool of trade (besides photoshop)

Yeah, I used to not believe in lead pencils, but after I tried them out for a while they grew on me. You just have to take advantage of the fact that if you use the lead at a certain angle you can always have both a smooth side of it for blending shadows and a really pointy and sharp edge for making great lines. Nowadays I rarely use any other drawing tool.

I've always been one for lead, and I always found it the most comfortable. How long have you been working with lead to get like this? It's amazing.

Well, I've been working with lead, pretty much exclusively, since way back in 1999.
